Self-Service Bathing
Have you ever tried to wash your dog or cat in
your bathtub or backyard at home? If you have tried it once, you
probably never tried it twice! What a mess! Now you can enjoy
the convenience of using our professional
quality grooming amenities, tools, high power dryers, and luxury shampoos &
conditioners at a reasonable
price--and when you are finished, you can leave the mess behind! Using
one of our elevated stainless steel
tubs, simply wet down your animal, suds him or her up, and rinse. Many
of our tubs have walk up ramps so that
you will not have to lift your pet inside. We also provide you with
waterproof aprons to keep you dry. Once your
pet has been washed and conditioned, you can then towel dry it with the
supplied towels. Then blow dry with
our professional grade, high output blow dryers. Using very little
heat, these dryers blow the water off of
the animal's coat leaving him bone dry in just a short time. You can
then brush, pick, or rake your pet's
coat with the collection of tools provided. Finally, to get every
crevice of your pet clean and dry, you can
use the many cotton balls, Q-tips, and ear cleaning solution available at
every wash station. The following
items are included with every self-service wash:
> Use of professional-grade wash tub
> Water-proof aprons
> Professional groomer quality shampoo
> Cotton
balls, Q-tips, and ear cleaning solution
> Brushes, combs, and deep scrubbing wash mitt
> Use of high-output blow dryer
> Bath towels
> A lead to keep your pet securely in the tub

price page. Also,
many add-ons are available including upgraded shampoos and conditioners,

brushing, and expressing of anal glands.
Full-Service Bathing
(Appointment required, please call 480-899-1133)
Would you like to get your dog or cat
professionally washed and brushed out but do not need the
hair cutting service included in a full grooming job? Then our
full-service bathing is for you. It
includes a bath with one of our many shampoos (hypoallergenic, soothing
oatmeal, tar-based anti-
itch shampoo, and others), expressing the anal glands, blow dry and brush
out, and nail trimming.
Your animal will end up clean and fluffy and smelling terrific. Please
note that this service is not
suitable for pets with a heavily matted coat or those with an excessively
thick undercoat. These
animals will be charged the same rate as a full groom due to being extremely
time and labor
intensive.
For pricing, please visit our
price page. Also,
a great add-on to this service is our de-shedding
service.

Nail
Clipping
Are your pet's nails going click-click-click
on your tile floor? If you have never tried it yourself, animal nail
clipping can be a tedious and difficult task. Done incorrectly, your
pet can also suffer damage or infection. Let our professional staff
clip your pet's nails for you. Nail clipping is included with
full-service grooming and can be added on at a minimal price with
self-service bathing. For pricing, please visit our
price page.
Express Anal Glands
The anal glands (more properly termed the anal
sacs) are two sac-like structures located just under the skin near the anus.
These sacs periodically fill with a thick, foul smelling secretion known as
anal gland secretion (or anal sac secretion). Under normal circumstances a
small amount of this secretion (discharge) is expelled from the gland each
time the pet defecates (meaning to "go to the bathroom" or "produce stool").
Impaction of the anal sacs is the "plugging-up" or "stopping-up" of the anal
glands, with normal secretion. Sometimes the outlet (called the duct)
of the anal gland becomes stopped-up and the gland fails to empty properly.
This usually leads to discomfort (from the accumulating pressure) and will
sometimes lead to infection.
Possible signs that your pet's anal glands may be impacted include scooting
of the rear end, licking the region around the anal glands, and possible
reluctance in defecating which can commonly be confused with constipation.
Our professional grooming staff can
express your pet's anal glands and is included with full-service grooming
and can be added on at a minimal price with self-service or full-service
bathing. For pricing, please visit our
price page.
Tooth Brushing
Dental disease (especially periodontal
disease) is the most common disease in our canine companions. It is also one
of the most preventable and treatable diseases. Frequent brushing of
your dog's teeth is essential in maintaining his or her dental health and is
something that every dog owner may want to consider learning to do.
Our professional grooming staff can provide very thorough tooth brushing as
an add on at a minimal price with any self-service or full-service bathing
or full-service grooming. For pricing, please visit our
price page.
De-Matting (Appointment required,
please call 480-899-1133)
Heavily matted coats can be very difficult to comb out.
It can also cause discomfort and irritation to your pet. Periodically
it will be determined that the wiser approach is to shave the dog's coat to
eliminate the mats rather than subjecting the dog to a painful de-matting
process.
Our grooming staff will perform
de-matting at a flat per-half-hour charge for animals that we determine can
be safely de-matted. Please inquire at the time of your appointment
about an estimated charge for de-matting of your pet. Quotes cannot be
given over the phone as the condition of your animal's coat must be seen by
a groomer prior to making an estimate.
De-Shedding (Appointment
required, please call 480-899-1133)
Is your dog's shedding driving you crazy?
If you have thought that there is just nothing
that can be done about it, then we have good news for you! Our
de-shedding process
strips away your dog's undercoat as well as the top coat that is shedding
all over your
home. This process helps to reduce or eliminate a dog's shedding for
up to six weeks.
Pictured to the right is a dog in which this process was used--all of this
hair was removed
through our de-shedding process, also known as carding or stripping.
Unlike shaving,
the dog's coat is only thinned out therefore the length of the coat is not
reduced in
any way. For pricing, please visit our
price page.
