Self-Service Wash Questions and Answers

Q: Is it necessary to make an appointment to use the self-service dog wash?
A: No, use of the self-service wash is on a first come, first served basis.  We have four wash stations therefore there is little or not wait time to use a tub.  Our busiest time of the week is Saturdays and Sundays and you may experience a short wait to use a tub on these days.

Q: I am concerned about the cleanliness of self-service dog wash facilities such as the one at Dippity Do Dog.  What precautions are taken to insure that your facilities are kept clean?
A: We disinfect each of the wash stations between every customer use using an industrial grade disinfectant.  This includes the tub and any of the grooming tools.  Also, our shop is treated on a regular basis for fleas, ticks, and other pests.  At Dippity Do Dog, we are fanatical about cleanliness and you have our guarantee that every possible step is taken to insure that your pet will not go home with any cooties!

Q: Do you provide the tools needed for me to cut my dog's hair while using the self-service wash such as clippers, shears, etc?
A: No, we do not provide these types of grooming tools to our customers.  We primarily do not do so out of a concern for the safety of our customers' pets.  Our professional grooming tools are extremely sharp and can easily injure an animal if not used in the proper fashion.  Our customers are welcome, however, to bring in their own grooming tools and trim or cut their pets' hair--we, however, ask that this only be done on weekdays.  Saturdays and Sundays are extremely busy therefore we ask that our customers not perform this type of grooming out of courtesy to the other customers who may be waiting for an available wash station.
